Stick Online Forums

The Fedora Gang is a group of hardworking, strong-minded individuals who wish to better the community of Stick Online in any way they can, whilst occasionally providing shmexiness in the form of (debatably) the best looking hat in SO, the Fedora. This clan aims to build upon what the past clans of SO have managed to achieve, and strive for more while having fun doing it.

This clan doesn't have a hierarchy of any sort, rather, it's a freeform gang. Everyone contributes equally, and everyone matters just as much as anyone else.

Multiple people have asked me to make this clan, and I gave in, because I didn't want to leave a gap in SO's development of clans. In addition, I've always wanted to help better this game in any way I can, and with a democratic clan, I'd be able to do more than just as a well-known community member.




This clan isn't invite-only, although invites may be distributed. I'm letting a few people whom I know well and know to be mature, genuine people join(as well as those who helped, encouraged, and supported me when I made/was making/going to make this clan), and others can request to join by posting in this thread.

New applicants will be appraised to see if they would be a fitting member of this clan, by both me and whoever is currently in the clan at the time of the request. Mature and helpful people are prime examples of what I'd like to see in the Fedora Gang.

...oh, and because past groups placed emphasis on a clan 'symbol' of sorts, ours is obviously the Fedora. It would be preferred if you have one.

Format for posting to apply to join: (excluding those few people, of which Clocky is one)

Fedora?: (If you have a Fedora or not, while this is ideal, it doesn't ultimately matter)
Why I'd Like to Join: (Your reason for applying to join the Fedora Gang, which would presumably be detailed, thoughtful and sincere)

Now that we are *technically* a clan, seeing as the arbitrary clan cutoff number is 10, we're going to have to go through a process to make sure everyone in the Gang has control over clan applicants being accepted, as to make it fair.

Every clan member(at least, every member I can get a hold of within a reasonable time span)can share their opinions about new applicants, and vote on if they think they should be let in. Yes and nos are not the only suitable replies, you don't have to vote, you can be undecided, you can just not care, whatever suits your fancy.

These events would be organized by collaboration with the entire clan, when various ideas would be brought up and discussed. Contributions by others, as well as clan collaborations, are always welcome.

This is a short list of all the clans that the Fedora Gang will be mainly supportive of, as the clan food chain can get rather hectic sometimes. I'd like to strive to make Fedora Gang a well-known SO clan with mainly widespread acceptance. And partnering up with other clans is a good way to do that.

The Gang may also ally because of wanting to assist a newer clan which looks like it has potential. We will help these (mainly developing) clans to become better. Everyone deserves a chance to shine.  :D

As stated in the OP, a Fedora isn't completely necessary. Heck, just buy a Shady Hat, that works fine too.

EDIT: Also, realizing the kickassness of this clan and subsequently, the kickassness of the Fedora, is a perfect reason to join.  :P

I kid, I kid. You're a mature, fun-loving member. I'd have to discuss it with 11 and TANK first though.

EDIT #2: Just FYI, not having a Fedora has no bearing on MY vote, but I can't speak for the other members of my clan. So it's probably best to get a Fedora before requesting to join.

Perhaps I should clarify joining rules for future reference, I won't ask for help in deciding if members go in if the clan doesn't have the size to be truly considered a clan, meaning <10 members.

I really appreciate the support guys, it really does mean quite a bit to me. Once we gather enough members to be technically considered a clan, which shouldn't be that far off, I'll start trying to organize events with the whole Fedora Gang.

Added the Clan News, in the annoying-yet-attention-getting form of a marquee. :3 It'll be replaced every so often.

Also, I'm going to get to work soon on a forum for the Fedora Gang; stay tuned.

EDIT: In addition to that, I'm attempting to set up a minor event, something like a tourney(for clans?), not exactly sure on the specifics yet, but I'm working on it...

No problem. Sorry for the mix-up, Mas stated he wanted Mas_D on this clan and SuperPenguin on Team Bunny, and I originally thought that was fine seeing as both Danimal is in 2 'clans', even though Eclipse really can't be considered much of one, and because Red resigned earlier from Team Bunny, yet you still have him as a part of your clan, even thought you acknowledge he split.  :P I'll remove him as you wish, since you had jurisdiction over him being in a clan first.

Red is back in my clan because he re applied and we re voted him in. Sorry for that confusing, and I've told Mas this before, if he wants to join your clan its perfectly, just let me know so i can remove him. There wouldn't be any grudges held against anyone, i just prefer the 1 clan loyalty thing haha. So he is free to resign and join you whenever. Just please make sure he resigns when he joins you, thanks mys.

Except this is 2011.

I haven't heard much about clans until recently, and there have been no official statements saying that the 10 member clan limit was not in effect anymore. Feel free to correct me on new clan rule specifications.

Anyways, both appliers have rescinded their previous requests. They didn't seem to be close to getting in anyways regardless..

EDIT: In other news, the clan forums are somewhat close to being ready, and I have decided to make most of it open to the general SO public, sans Private Clan decision-making boards.

EDIT #2: Also, after mulling it over for quite a bit, I've decided to await more clans appearing before starting anything close to a miniature clan tourney, even though I had a good idea of how it would work..  :(

If majority of overall members is reached by the votes, it's an automatic acceptance.

I'm resigning. Sorry, but there is no point in being in this clan at the moment. Nothing has really happened at all, it's like the clan doesn't even exist. Maybe when clans get more popular I'll rejoin.

No clan really exists at the moment, though I agree with you that nothing's been happening. It's not like I have any inside info to plan ahead like the Shady Gang and Stick Mafia do, so I can't do much there, although I've thought up some really generic stuff. I perfectly understand where you're coming from. I'll let you back in if you want when clans become more popular.
