Err, maybe not. My assumption to the crappy recolor of the Sand GOLEM was to look like/resemble hard sand, clay, rock, or even cement. Because when you think of Golem, first thing that comes to my mind is rocky hard exterior.

I actually had that same problem on this forum...sorry for err sounding sarcastically helpful? lol. But I fixed it by just playing around with the times till I got one that did it accurately. I think my time is on something European. Idk if you have the patience to do that though. It was annoying.

How do people manage to drown a monster in the desert? When you're at the wall you have to drag it pretty far to get it to drown...

No I know that, but it's still sort of far away. Unless they are intentionally doing it. I can't see how anyone could accidentally drown a monster that far away.

You can't drown a sg accidently.
If you see one coming to you, you either have enough hp to get through (even if you get hit once or twice) and it wouldn't walk too far
or you do not have enough hp to survive and you have to decide:
Die and loose hits (knowing that others still have their hits)
or let it die and loose hits (knowing that others loose their chances aswell).
So everytime a SG dies an unnatural death, you know that an idiot drowned it.
In other words because someone was pissed they lost their hits they drowned it so no one else had a chance either... That's crazy. Especially considering even after the person dies there's probably plenty of time for them to get hits back up on the SG again. But I guess some people don't make sense sometimes.
That is why we need the old PvP. So u can give the idiot a GS to the face. Speaking of idiots, who was the said idiot?

off topic: i totally had a dream that there was an SG and i got slasher and 4 GS's. there were new hats that totally fit the style of SO. if only i could sprite i would make them. there were 2 new critters at the bandits. The DH was taken by a blue knight helm, but it didn't look too much like the knight helm. it also gave 7/0/4/0/ and 10 def 0.o another hat i had was a BC without the ninja mask top. it was a black bandit bandana, which looked badass... it was awesome till i woke up

I find that kind of ridiculous... I've seen other people use this thread for DS spawns. And telling someone who can't solo a DS to just drown it is pretty annoying if you ask me. I know I can't solo a DS and I would be pissed if someone said this to me.

+1 for support. I feel anything of boss value should be posted here, especially if you need/want help.
Perhaps in the past, yes, but I'm trying to moderate a bit more. I feel that this thread is FOR SG's. And many find it very annoying to see a new post here only to be dissapointed it's not an SG. An SG takes upwards of an hour at times, a DS takes ~5 minutes. A big differance, ontop of that the drops aren't anywhere near the same, and it is MUCH MUCH easier to spawn a DS or other boss than an SG. To me, it feels like spam.
That's fine. I guess I just felt the way you chose to go about telling him that was a bit mean. Simply stating he should make a separate topic would have sufficed. Hearing (from a mod no less) that you should drown a monster because you can't deal with it by yourself is kind of annoying to me personally.
But yea, you're right, this is off-topic so I won't bring it up anymore.
It does so happen that not everyone has 80+ strength on hand to kill a dark sage in ~5 minutes as you say, and there is a small enough population of active players that using this topic for DSs really doesn't actually matter, and really doesn't require moderating... A DS topic could be made, but frankly I don't see the difference.
I think that it really should be topic for sg/snowman/spawn parties
the 2 monsters are really rare and a lot of people love to fight it.
and the spawn party everyone always comes.
though i think that if you do need help with other monsters you should post it. (actually i think we should set up a topic for things like that)

I would think it more annoying to have multiple topics being bumped in the General section that all pretty much tell people that a certain monster has spawned. It's easy enough to have the one topic, go into the topic, read it, and then see if you care about the monster. If it's not a monster you care about, ignore it. But this is a topic looks for the rarity of a monster spawn, not how difficult it is to kill it. As for your 3 hours without a rabbit, you were just unlucky. Besides, rabbits aren't even bosses BECAUSE of how easy it is to kill them.

I was at bandits for 3 hours non afk with 3 people. No rabbit.
I frequent bandits a lot. Minus this week, since it's exams next week. Most of the time people are sitting around not killing bandits. It's pathetic how slowly they kill bandits no matter how many are there. I am well aware of the spawn speed of the bunnies, and it's really quite frequent.

It's not dying. It's a donor only server. If it were publicly available, and advertised as such, there would be crap tons more people playing. The fact that it's a donor server and there's still this many people playing and browsing the forums says something for its popularity. This game and its community will last a long while yet.

It's been 11 days since we saw a SG.. I know its not a SG but I just spent an hour spawning 14 sf and 1 DS in the desert. I am currently alone there and its 7:30 pm Eastern time right now. Im gonna wait 15-30 minutes for ppl who wants to come enjoy the SACRIFICE.. .. and who know a SG might spawn :P. Well idk why, but mostly rare drops are dropped after eachother in small time periods. Most people who get bc are getting spire 2 days later, most IS guys did get dh soon and after a long time of no dkh drops we had 3 in 1 week.
Anyway yeah, "probably" first legit LSB drop. Feels good to finally "know" that we have a chance that is not near zero to obtain one.

not even quite. There have been over 5 fed/gb doubles that I remember, these hats are just very common.
I had the first double drop by an SG ever (was like the 5th that spawned), and I even filmed it :P

The spawn rate of SGs definately rose. Or maybe we're just playing 24/7...
there is more people active thats why
I don't think the spawn rates have risen, nor the amount of people. Activity fluctuates, and so does chance. Like a player grinding an item weeks and another receiving the same item in hours, we can go for weeks without an SG and suddenly have four in less than 24 hours like so. That's how chance works.

Was Maggi's from a SG? I remember it being from a Dux for some reason. Also, Razor got one from a SG too I believe.
I believe maggi has 2 slashers and got 1 from SG, not sure bout other but isn't total lss "drop" count 4?
The topic amount of Legendary Sand Blades which have been legitimately obtained by the SG is 2. Also, this topic is for SG/DS/Snowman spawns. It's best to not clutter it up with discussion. The only reason I noted the amount being 4 slashers and 2 LSBs dropped earlier is because it was in the post of me noting the SG was dead.
