There is plenty of grass, though. There most likely isn't wildlife here, due to the size of the island and the fact that the crab underneath uses the island as a weapon. There is also a good clearing for building a base, but you will need some supplies in order to make one. You may not want to build a base until the Giant Enemy Crab is defeated, so that its island smash attack won't demolish it.
