Concept work for a game... It's really just a design to get an idea for the new character, rather then something that was intended to look nice. I really dislike parts on it, such as the weapon, and lower arms.. May redo the whole thing for kicks once I get time to actually commit to it more. Oh well...

The head/helmet of that character is REALLY creative, I love it. Nice work dude, need I say more?

To keep this topic up & running, I thought i'd post something I've been working on for the past few days. It's nothing "Spectacular" but it did take me a fairly long time to get it running the way I wanted it to.

What have I been making? you might be asking. Well in short, I've been subjecting myself to pages & pages of C++ Tutorials and what not...and decided to test my skills by creating a small Platform Game test, I mean right not I wouldn't call it a "game" exactly, but it has some platform game physics (which took me quite a long time to work out how to do). So if you have the time to download a 200kb file (which on todays computers is less then 2 seconds worth of your time) take a look and compare it to a game just like it in game maker. Also check out the speed, I think it runs smoothly.

I may add something similar like that for a bit of fun :P (of course I wouldn't use the exact stick from SO) I'll see how I can go about it, wouldn't mind fixing up the movement too...because when you keep your finger on the right key while pressing the left key, then release the left key you won't start going right because your finger is on the right key, which I intend to fix sooner or later.

But this has been a huge learning experience for me, I kept putting off learning C++ game coding because it was a major struggle getting it to work with my compiler and not only that but learning how to properly use it was pretty hard. Downloaded many ebooks to say the least.

THe futurep lans for this is to make it a simple game and mysterious game....where you collect some coins (might change this later on) and dodge creatures to aquire the coins. I'd also like to make it so you cannot attack these creatures, you just have to dodge and move around them.

These things are like a dime a dozen. And does this really count as my creations? I did not really make them for say but i did make the programed that made it.

There's a program developed by MIT I used to use that could make things like those. I think it was called "Tortoise" or "Turtle".
