This is the character I created for Lunia's "create your own character contest". Winner get's their character implemented into the game, but top 10 also receive other prizes as well. Contest ends tonight and they haven't stated when they will announce the winner :<
Anyways, her names Eilian Jera and she's a chronomancer. Her weapon is a chain sickle/hourglass. (does time attacks with the hourglass and melee with the sickle).

Idk if it's sad, or funny, or pitiful, or what... But 3 people also did chronomancers/time-related characters after I posted.
One of them used like 3 of the exact same attacks I had.
Another one had a similar weapon, a watch on the end of a chain.
and the third was just similar because of the class...

Then there's the morons of the group who try to "create" characters for Lunia that are already in other games... Such as Mari from Grand Chase... Cloud from FF... Mememan -.-..... Hitler...... zombie with Swastikas on her clothing... And the list goes on. >_<

Anyways, here's a link to the topic with all the Character posts, there's some really awesome ones in there: http://forums.ijji.com/showthread.php?t=979147

I noticed a lot of people point to parts of the body and said "support". You've done it to and i'm curious as to why?

Well because in the game there are different sections to the armor. (gloves, foot, leg, body, head, back, face, weapon, support, earring1, earring2, ring1, ring2, necklace)
Basically, the ones in italic are the ones you can (usually) see. And they're all pretty much obvious except for the support piece, which is why most people point it out. And the support piece is usually different for each character where as all the other stuff is the same. (gloves on the hand, shirt on the body, skirt/pants on the leg, etc). But for the support it ranges from capes, belts, books, runes, and so on.

Yeah, I was gonna mention that one in my post, I knew it was ripped(and someone mentioned it in the topic too) but I couldn't remember what he was ripped from.

A few sprites I felt like redoing.
No offence sprite creators, they are good but I just felt like doing something.
And the hood is an oldie I did. Nothing to compare it to too.

Well, both of those look significantly awkward as compared to the predecessors. The cloth being so elevated and awkwardly shaped makes it look a little strange. On the knight mask the reshaping and addition of all those features takes away from it looking like a helmet. It isn't necessarily over-detailed, but the additions don't correspond in a way to make it look like a helmet. Also regarding shading, you have to be consistent with your light source. The bandit masks shading has no common light source making it look awkward.

Thank you for your reply pwnage.
I tried a few things. First shaded the hood a little more, and made it more hoodie.
Fixed the inconsistant shading on the BM. I did notice that when you put that out.
I made major changes for the Knight helmet. Reference here (the second one) http://www.armourmart.com/metal-helmets.html
I also dithered it. A little less shiny but oh well.

I think they are looking better.
