Nothing new, the only monitor i HAVE is my LED TV. Plus the loungeroom computer runs through a 50" Plasma, so :P
I have done that also on a 56inch TV. Quite nice.

Ehh, yeah. My HMDI cord is like 2 feet long, so I have to put the laptop REALLY close to the TV. :(
I'm oging to buy a longer cord soon though.
I find that text becomes very blurry when you hook a computer up to a plasma.

it's the hertz difference. computer refresh rates vary 60hz>. TV's are half that. Then distortion sets in.
