Title: Christmas Lag Bug
Post by: Mr Pwnage on December 23, 2010, 11:39:03 AM
So, loving the new update. Snow and presents are awesome. However, with the new update there is this weird insane slow-motion lag, and from what I've heard every other person is experiencing if their character is near other people's characters. So this probably needs to be looking to...

Running list of bug stats:
*Seems to get better and dissipate when players become static by crouching, sitting, and standing still.
*Bug causes massive drops in FPS.
*The higher concentration of moving players, the worse the FPS.

It seems that there is no lag when the other player is static.

Also should probably be important to note this is FPS lag. And I have noticed the more players moving at once in a certain area the worse it gets.

Same. Also, I was just by King Lewis (afk sitting) at town. I had 30 fps.

18fps on a simple 2d platformer on a overclock 3ghz quad core cpu seems in my option a little much. :P

Everyone is getting low FPS... Lowest I have had is 29 :/
EDIT: FOUND SOMETHING VERY IMPORTANT!
If you crouch, you do not lag. Important for fixing?
