4^2+4^2+4+4 is not Using four 4's. Its using 4 4s and a 2. Its what makes it harder.

The ^2 simply means to the power of two. So in this case; 4 * 4 + 4 * 4 + 4 + 4 (so in fact I'm using 6 4's).

I was tryping to do this while not using he number 44. Here is another one I could of done for 1)

tan(4/4+44)
= tan(45)
= 1.

:)

But 4/4 is in that equation. There's no point.

You fail to see the point of this challenge. The challenge is to use 4 in any form to create an answer between 1 to 100.

So in the example I gave I used 4 4's to get an answer that was equal to one.
