I don't think anyone remembers me but I've been here since Stick Online 1, with big breaks in between.
I'm currently looking for ways to increase my C# knowledge(In my free time) so I was wondering if anyone is interested in a Stick-Online spin-off?
I have no idea if people still visit this forum but I'd like to know if people are interested!

I've played most of the "spin-off" games (Fallen Chaos, Nightfall, etc.) and had a decent bit of fun with them. As long as you don't blatantly steal anything, I assume you would be in the clear. I'm sure some members of the community, including myself, would at least check it out.

Thanks! I won't make a full copy of Stick Online nor steal their resources to use them in my game. The point of making a "small" indie game like Stick Online was the community. I love the close knit community these games offer and would like to bring it back.
EDIT: For the people that care, currently messing around with networking, probably going to start a simple test server tomorrow.

I plan on taking the nostalgic elements from games like Stick Online (amongst some other stick ORPGs) and pushing them in my own direction. I'll be releasing regular demos very soon(probably in the next month), and I'll be releasing a pre-alpha multiplayer demo at an undetermined date; most likely around 5 or 6 months from now.
There isn't a schedule that's set in stone yet, though; my first year of college is about to start so I'm unsure of how my schedule will work out as of now.

I remember this! I actually was upset a year or so ago when I lost my hard drive that contained the source code. Then I found a back-up on an old media fire account this year! Quite happy about that haha.
It was nice to see that clip again!
