Wow! My laptop just barely reaches 100 fps on 16x16.
And those are some pretty detailed tiles!

blur tool in gimp is my best friend, gimp is what i use to make these since graphics gale has problems with alpha channels.
also added several new tiles.

I would say it looks creepy but that's not the right word when dealing with Minecraft. It does make me interested in what they are and why they are holding blocks.

I'm pretty sure they're not able to move stone and higher, since it's hard to break stone.

I have a question. I have a mod installed that adds more mobs to the game. When the game update, will I have to update the mod?

Yep. Most of the time, updates break the mods, and the mod owners have to update their mods. The time it takes depends on the owners. Notch says he'll be adding mod support sometime in the future though :l

So, when I install the update, will it automatically uninstall my mods?

Don't think so. They just won't work.

Either way, you're going to have to reinstall them anyway.
