I have a couple of ideas for S.O.3 here are they:
Weapons:
Linghtening Sword
Bow and Arrow
An Element Dagger
Brode Sword
Morning Star
Shields
Hats:
Jason Mask
Wrestler Mask

would this be like you equip it and while you have a weapon. you press d or something before something hits you and you loose less hp? or does it just give you more defense?

That's not how I remember it. I think there was a pretty lively debate about ranged weapons on one of the old forums. I don't remember the final result, but there were people on both sides. Ranged weapons are definitely something that would add to the combat of the game. It wouldn't be bad.

I've always liked the idea of a shield action that you have to press a button to perform. Of course, halfing the damage wouldn't make sense. It would have to depend on your stats and the stats of the shield you are using.

i agree with this. i also think ranged weapons are good for the people who are strong and have a lot of health but are slow.

typically ranged archetypes are fast, strong, and low on health/armor. The idea is they are able to deal a good amount of damage, but they have to keep away from the crowd. They need to be fast because they need to keep the range between them and their target. If their target can get close to them, their ranged is pointless. So focusing on speed and str is the key.

i agree. But dont they like have good damage over time but like one arrow does not do much? but there fast so they shoot alot? im not sure.

Depends. Normally ranged players are not necessarily high DPS (damage per second). They ussually rely on a long duration, high damage attack. It's like it takes a long time to draw the arrow in the bow and release and all that, but the piercing damage of the arrow is very effective.

But it doesn't have to be that way...

Ranged weapons would certainly make agility a more desired stat for pvp...and I think all rpg like games should have at least some for of ranged weapons...so I would be in favor of them.

Same here. I've always liked the idea of them. The rest of the item ideas here are kinda.....meh.

Actually, ranged weapons is not an original idea either. As I mentioned we've had an in depth discussion on the topic in a previous forum. Not that this poster would know that. They seem to be new. Not a big deal. I just thought bringing up the topic of ranged weapons again was good.

I wasn't trying to say that ranged weapons were an original idea. I was commenting on what ranged weapons could do for SO and then commenting on the rest of his ideas. He definitely isn't the first person to suggest ranged weapons.

the element depends were you  are on the map
like if you in the desert it becomes a sand dagger
if u in the arena it becomes a wind dagger
if u at the temple it becomes a fire dagger
if u by the well it becomes a water dagger
if u by the brigdes it becomes a lightening dagger
if u by the bandits it becomes a grass dagger
if it is halloween event it becomes a bloody dagger
if the christmas event it becomes an ice dagger

Well it's his topic, I don't see anything wrong with a topic maker reviving his own topic with some fresh content, instead of making another topic. As for the ideas, I'm not even going to comment on them, because you replaced all your "you"s with "u"s, on a !@#$ing forum, and I'm resisting the urge to stab you at the moment.

Also,  Please for the love of nipples, do NOT post lists of the random shit that comes to your head. I can tell you with absolute 100% certainty, listing ideas will cause them to never be implemented. How do I know this? Because when you just type down anything that sounds good in your head, it tells us you really didn't even think about them. All that went through your brain was "Hey, that would be fun to wear!". Which brings up another thing, I don't know how people haven't noticed, but when you suggest a hat or a weapon with no creative thinking behind it, and no sprite, it never gets implemented.

We really need to bring back that rule of One idea per post, and we need some kind of rule against posting weapon/hat ideas without sprites...

I also hate when ppl don't put no spirte if there thinking of a weapon like he said without a spirte it won't come to S.O

You merely put stripes over the sprites of the GS and Dagger to make the Lightning sword and Element dagger (respectively), the Morning star and Bow and Arrow aren't really sprites that are in proportion to the game, and the Broad Sword isn't in proportion either. The Jason Mask is too unpolished.

In my opinion, the weapons are hardly creative and really don't need any of those concepts since they exist already and one could easily just see what they look like, especially since these weapons are so common that many would already know what they are.

The idea of a "Jason Mask", which in reality is really only a hockey mask, seems a bit cliche (Even though a good sum of the hats are). Not only so, but the mask looks like it's on a straight on veiw (Looking at the player) whilst it should be looking directly to the right or left.

Why would anyone need to sprite their ideas in order for it to be suggested or put into Stick-online? Seriously, if the idea is rounded off well and sounds interesting, I'm sure you wouldn't have to go out of your way to make it visually.

Sorry, didn't realize it was his topic. Anyway, your ideas suck, your sprites suck, please try to be at least partially reasonable when attempting to make suggestions for stick online.

Some questions to ask yourself before making a suggestion might be:

-Could the Stick Online team come up with this idea just as easy as I have?

-Will my sprites/animations fit in the game?

-Are my sprites/animations useful to someone who has a professional lineup of graphics artists?

If the answer to any of these questions is no, don't post.
