I found out that you can go above 500 characters in your signature for one edit. I had an urge to see if you could just remove part of a Stick Online url and see if it worked like any url. It's temporary though, leaving you with having to redo some stuff. It has to be a Stick Online forum url though.
- Copy a stick online page url, such as http://www.stick-online.com/boards/index.php?topic=2.0
- Delete the http://www.stick-online.com/boards/index.php, leaving you with '?topic=2.0'.
- When you click the link, you'll see that it still works.
That's because it adds back in http://www.stick-online.com/boards/index.php into your signature, BUT it doesn't delete any of the extra at the end, leaving you with an extended signature. (if you edit your sig again, you'll see the extra text is already deleted, but that doesn't mean it's gone (until you update again as it is)) I am pretty sure this is a bug and I might report this to Simple Machines.
Yeah, I would submit that to simple machines. By the sounds of it, it is much more of a bug on their end.
Your saying putting "?topic=2.0" into the address bar turns of suggestions for ?topic=2.0.? I don't see how its a big deal.

It is a serious workaround and exploit. It doesn't check for the signature's height that way.

It automatically puts in 'http://www.stick-online.com/boards/index.php' and the added text still counts as characters. The problem is that even though it exceeded the character limit, extra text won't be deleted and kept on your sig.
