Title: Stick Mafia: The Revival (See Conclusion for Winner)
Post by: 11clock on July 20, 2012, 05:56:19 PM
I present to you...

Stick Mafia: The Revival

The Stick Mafia have returned, and this time, they're more sneaky, more devious, more...sticky. They have killed the Mayor, and now the Town is in trouble. No one knows who is what, except for the Mafia. No one knows how many Mafia there are, and what roles are present. However, there is rumor that the Town has very powerful allies.

11clock, an awesome person who everyone loves and wants to be his friend, joins everyone together. "I have unfortunate news," 11clock said in his manly voice. "The Stick Mafia are back, and they want to kill us all. We must kill them, and we must do it now!"

Everyone cheered for their new leader, and thus the investigation begins.

2. Lucifer
3. Grim_Reaper
4. YayForLife
5. Jmacrules
6. Titan
7. crozier
8. Hi756
9. Theskyisblue
10. Tidus

THE CONCLUSION

Jmacrules, the Tracker, walks out the door of his house. The events of the third day confused him. Is Titan the Bus Driver? Is KaptainKohl the Bus Driver? Are they both Bus Drivers? Is there a Bus Driver at all? Tonight, he's going to go pay Titan a visit.

Jmacrules stays hidden outside of Titan's house. He sees Titan walk out, and leave. Jmacrules follows him, noticing that they are going the reverse direction that Jmacrules took. It looks like he is heading to his house! This can not be a good sign.

Jmacrules watches as Titan approaches the door to his home. Titan takes out a large, iron boot, swings it around to gain momentum, then slams it into the door. The door collapses, and Titan heads inside.

After a few minutes, Titan leaves the house. He pauses, then looks directly at the tree that Jmacrules is hiding behind.

"You can come out now," Titan says, pulling out a gun. "You can't escape, you know."

Jmacrules steps out from behind the tree. "Titan!" he exclaims. "I should of known that you were behind all of these murders!"

"Nah," Titan says. "I didn't kill Grim_Reaper. The others were my doing, though. Enjoy the last 5 seconds of your life, Jmac!"

---

Titan could just taste the victory that he was longing for, ever since his partner foolishly got himself killed. He has lived this long, and now it is time for him to to commit his final night kill, for surely the Town will just lynch one of themselves again.

He knew that Jmacrules was following him from the start, and so he wanted to make a show, to make him think that he was safe for a bit. He uses the same iron boot that he used to bust into YayForLife's home, and went inside.

Ah, the glory of staring at the possessions of his soon-to-be victim. Jmacrules will never see these things again. Titan thinks of his previous murders: the Mayor, Lucifer at the local bar, YayForLife at his house on the computer. Now it's Jmac's turn to get his share of bullets.

Titan walks out of Jmacrules' house, stares directly at the tree that Jmacrules was hiding behind, and calls him out. Jmac steps out, surprised to see him. "Titan!" he exclaims. "I should of known that you were behind all of these murders!"

"Nah," Titan says. "I didn't kill Grim_Reaper." Titan suddenly remembers the mysterious death of Grim_Reaper, and that devilish smile before he shot Theskyisblue. He quickly shakes away the memory. "Enjoy the last 5 seconds of your life, Jmac!"

---

Off in the distance, a lone shadow was standing there, watching the conflict. This shadow is none other than the shady KaptainKohl. He watches as Titan points the gun at Jmacrules and pulls the trigger. As soon as the gunshot was heard, KaptainKohl snaps his fingers.

---

Jmacrules was ready to meet his fate when he felt a sudden whoosh. Before he knew it, he was standing where Titan was just milliseconds ago. Jmacrules looks at where he was previously standing to see Titan's dead body. So there is a Bus Driver?

A shady figure approaches Jmacrules. It's KaptainKohl!

"That was the last one," KaptainKohl says. "He made it quite far. Oh well, should we go tell the others that the Mafia are no longer a threat?"

So it looks like KaptainKohl was telling the truth after all. Jmacrules shrugs and joins with him to go spread the good news.

TITAN WAS SHOT. HE WAS PRO-MAFIA.

THE TOWN WINS!

Don't sign me up for the first game, as I'm not entirely confident in my knowledge of the rules. I'll watch (read?) the first game and brush up on the basic rules and probably play in one of the next games if enough people are interested.

I'll play. Haven't played Mafia in a while, (in real life at least, never online) so we'll see how it turns out for me. That is, if we have enough people game.
And yes I'm still on these forums. Nothing got me interested to post, I'm waiting for v3!

And the game comes alive! Can't wait.

Read some tutorials and played sample games. If it involves theorizing and talking then I guess I could be up to it, but if it's just outright voting then I'll still have fun.

EDIT: @YFL You're still up for Fight Games?

That makes 7 people. We need a few more so that I can insert a lot of power roles. This will be an almost blind game, so a lot of power roles on both sides would make this game very interesting and fun. While at it I will also thrown in some custom roles. 8)

@YayForLife People almost always quit the Fight Game before it gets interesting. The only Fight Games that were actually successful were the Fight Game and the Fight Game's Return. The community isn't very active right now, so it would most likely fail due to the lack of players. When Stick Online V3 comes out, I'll host the next Fight Game. For now, no. Perhaps a Fight Game RPG soon, that doesn't require a large amount of players.

Fight Game RPG was the only one I was really interested in. Fight Games allowed too many american players to have moves while I was sleeping, so I was pages behind whenever I got on to do something.

The possible modifiers:

Before we begin, I'm going to give a couple of tips on the roles.

1. There are a lot of power roles.
2. Each side has one custom role that's not listed on the first linked website in this post.

Alright, now please wait while I assign roles.

GONG! GONG!

As the gong was hit, the prime suspects were brought to the town square, where the lynch stand was in place. The mighty figure of 11clock stands in front of it.

"We will vote who to lynch each day," 11clock explains. "The one with the most votes by the end of the day will be lynched. If there is a tie, I will role dice. We will do this until we are sure that all of the Mafia are dead."

"But how would we know when the Mafia are dead?" Lucifer asks. "We don't even know how many of them there are!"

"I know who the Mafia are," 11clock explains.

"If you know who the Mafia are, then why are we doing this!?" Crozier cries out.

"Because lynching people is fun."

Day 1 has begun!

Good, evil, innocent, guilty? Bah! In the end all that truly matters is survival. If in the morning you find you have managed to retain your morality, well that's just a bonus.

For now I agree to wait. I vote for No Lynching today. But know, we are simply biding time.. tonight they will strike.. and the next night.. and the next, until none of us are left but the forsaken."

And to explain why we are wanting No Lynch is because in Day One, practically there is almost nothing to be suspicious about. However, when you vote out, that usually pulls someone's mind. That can direct suspicion towards you by the way.

"The usual ratio from townies to Mafia is 2:1. This ratio is what causes LYLO not to happen too soon. However this is a blind game, and 11clock may have used some crazy roles from mafiascum.net. I say your chances of getting a Mafia member is maybe 33%. 1, 2, or 3, and if you get a 2 or 3, the townies will already be in trouble.

Now if we No Lynch, chances will rise as this percentage will most likely become 37.5%, but this dramatically increases once we finally grab some suspicion. Plus we are not sure what roles others have. They may raise it, they may not.
If we had lynched a townie, that will most likely put the percentage at 42.8%. We will have few leads to suspicion at this point.
If we lynched a Mafia, then congratulations, we are already winning.

These are just my thoughts of strategy for now."

"RayRay has given some good points. We don't know what the roles are, so if we blind vote, we could get rid of somebody important, followed by mafia probably taking out another important role. If we let Mafia kill one person, that's one more person than we would have after a blind vote. And we could be saving somebody that has an important role in the town! These are my thoughts."

"Wow, you're right! 4.5% better chance is definitely worth doing nothing for! Everyone should just NL, with no discussion involved! That'll definitely get us somewhere in regards to suspicion! In fact, if we do this very same thing on day 2, the ratio will get even better! I love this idea! Do nothing, everybody!"

Despite Theskyisblue's sarcastic rants, everyone else decides to vote No Lynch.

"Okay, No Lynch, come on up..."

No Lynch was lynched on Day 1. He was on no one's side.

Night 1 has begun.
No one can post here for the night, and only the Mafia are allowed to PM each other.
All night roles PM me what you want to do. Your first PM is the final decision, no takebacks.

Hi756 HAS BEEN MODKILLED. HE WAS THE MAFIA TRAPPER (Special Mafia Role).
The trap that he placed has been removed from existence.
Following reason: Telling one of the guys he trapped that he knew he was a nightrole, outside of the game. (The Mafia Trapper's traps reveal to the trapper who fell into them.)

His role was revealed as punishment. This is a very crucial Mafia rule that was broken.
Also, all future modkills will reveal roles. You have been warned.

Hey guys, should we start over because of this incident, or should we press on? If we start over, I'll reveal everyone's current roll and make a new role list, including different custom roles.

Also, who wants to replace RayRay in case he doesn't return? Now's your chance to enter the game if you missed the opportunity.

A lone figure was hidden in the bushes, watching his trap that he set up. His plan was simple, to place a trap that keeps the Town's powerful allies from performing their nightly activities. He doesn't plan to kill those who fall into the trap. That would be too risky, and besides, watching them trying and failing to get out is fun. Hi756 hopes that his trap placement was a good place, but it should be. It's always in a good place for the devious and intelligent Mafia Trapper.

Aha, someone was caught already! Hi756 snickers as he watches the helpless person attempt to get out of the ropes that just brought him high into the air. The classic net trap, a rather nice one.

As Hi756 was watching, his foot caught on something. As he was attempting to get it free, he fell out of the bushes and into the open. The trapped person and Hi756 stare blankly at each other.

"Hi756?" the person appeared to be somewhat shocked.

It looks like that Hi756 has no choice, he must ditch his original plans and kill this guy. He took out his gun and prepared to fire...

Suddenly, Hi756 stood there, frozen. He looked down, and stared in horror at the tip of a long, sharp knife, covered in his blood. His vision faded to black.

The thief looted Hi756's corpse and started to leave, when he noticed the trapped person. He swiftly cut the person down, then ran through the trees, out of sight. The person shrugged and went on to do his business.

Lucifer was chilling at his favorite local bar, late at night. He was drinking his beer and talking with his buddies. Suddenly, before anyone could react, a shot broke out, and someone quickly left the bar. Lucifer was lying there, emotionless, with a bullet deep inside of his skull.

It was morning, and all prime suspects, except for two, returned to the town square. Some were shocked, some were emotionless, some were excited.

11clock greeted everybody. "Welcome back. Today, we will discuss who to lynch, and this time, let's not lynch someone who isn't even a suspect."

Hi756 HAS BEEN MODKILLED. HE WAS THE MAFIA TRAPPER (Special Mafia Role).

LUCIFER HAS BEEN SHOT. HE WAS PRO-TOWN.

Day 2 has begun!

Great! You can actually take his place now until the end of Night 3. If RayRay shows that he has access to the game before the end of Night 3, he will resume his position. Otherwise, you have the role until the end of the game.

As people were discussing stuff, someone noticed that RayRay wasn't present.

"Where's RayRay?" Crozier asked.

"Oh, he left for some important business or something (partying at Universal Studios)," 11clock explained. "Don't worry, he has someone to take his place while he's gone."

Suddenly, a chill filled the area. A dark, cloaked figure walked into the town square. The figure spoke in a sinister, creepy voice. "The name's Kohl, KaptainKohl."

Almost everyone decided to wait for whoever first discovered Hi756's role to reveal himself, and so they waited, and waited, and waited...

"This is the most unproductive group I've ever seen," 11clock mutters.

The sun went down, and everyone went back home for the night, unhappy with the lack of progress. As soon as it was dark outside, the remaining Mafia, however many there are left, went out to make their next move.

No one was lynched.

Night 2 has begun.

YayForLife was up, late at night. He was on his computer playing this amazing game that everyone has been talking about lately, Stick Mafia: The Revival. He was so into this masterpiece that he didn't even notice someone kicking down his door, gun in hand.

The sun rises as the remaining seven suspects enter the town square.

"YayForLife is dead," 11clock announces.

As everyone started getting back into the discussion, Crozier noticed that Grim_Reaper hasn't been saying anything, just standing there. Crozier looked down on the ground around the silent person to see a puddle of blood. "Grim_Reaper, you're hurt!" Crozier cries out.

Grim_Reaper snickers, pulls out a gun, fires it at Theskyisblue, then falls over.

"Crozier, if Titan is the stalker/mafia cop, then he would probably be pretending to be a role that he knows. IMO, I believe he is mafia, and seeing as Tidus voted with him in getting rid of kohl for no real reason, they may be two mafia members. Seeing as croz is supposedly a third-party, I'm pro-town and kohl is supposedly pro-town, they would have to be the only two left. If we lynch one, one of us will die during the night and there will either be: (supposedly) 1 third party, 1 townie, 1 mafia; 2 townies, 1 mafia, and one of us would win. However if I'm entirely wrong, there would be: 1 third party, 2 mafia; 1 townie, 2 mafia, and they would win. This is to say that crozier is truly the survivor. I could have gotten a false tracking on him due to another person's role, or your role could have some anti-track ability (idk)."

If one those two is a mafia cop, it wont matter if they investigate me or you croz, and it seems that one mafioso may already have use his role on the bus driver, but of that I'm unsure. Anyhow, the mafia cop's role would essentially be useless next night, so better to rid the unknown role. Me, you(croz), and someone else have to vote together, otherwise we'll have to rely on chance.

I vote Tidus for now, but I need two others to prevent lynching a possible townie.

Hmm, now that I think back, Titan said his second drive was Tidus and YFL, meaning Tidus was supposedly saved. However if Tidus is mafia, then we'll know Titan is too, seeing as a mafioso wouldn't be targeted by his own."

"If croz and kohl don't vote Tidus before it's time to lynch, change my vote to Titan please.
To croz: If only you vote with me and we lose the dice roll, you should agree to change your vote to Titan and so will I so that he will have 3 votes, it's your choice though. Can we do that sir 11clock? =p

KaptainKohl-2
Tidus-2
Titan-1

If the day ends with a tie, dice will determine who gets his neck cracked. Once the dice have been rolled, the lynch will take place immediately, and votes can not be changed.

"Whoever is the real bus driver, swap me and whoever is pretending to be the bus driver tonight, please. Not that you have to, but if 11clock does things the way I would, the town will win by morning. That is, if kohl and Titan both survive the lynching."

"k i will switch you because i know that i wont die tonight because if i do my role will be shown up as Bus Driver and then it will be clear that Titian is Mafia and everyone will vote for him tomorrow, but, they might just kill me anyway because im pro-town also and all that leaves is Jmac to die the next night and they win, this is so confusing, so its really up to a 50/50 chance on this move, and i will change my vote so its not chance though i want to vote titian because i know he is Mafia"

New Vote: Tidus

If whoever is the Bus Driver dies, assuming that there is one, his role won't be revealed, only his faction, just like the rest of the players (except for modkills).

Day 3 ends in 1 hour 15 minutes.

"Anyway it will still say Pro-Town and that would mean that Titian was lying and is Mafia"

A lot of discussion today. Two people claiming Bus Driver, someone claiming Survivor, and someone claiming Tracker. Yep, a lot of claims. However, one person didn't claim a role, and that was Tidus. Suspicion arose, and he was brought to the noose.

Oops, looks like Tidus was innocent! Don't worry, it's not over yet!

TIDUS WAS LYNCHED. HE WAS PRO-TOWN.

Night 3 has begun.

THE TOWN WINS!

gg... :D
If Kap didn't have a gun, and it was just Titan, kap and I then I would have totally mafsided. Woulda forced a nl with the mafia and get them to shoot me giving mafia the win XD But that wasn't the case.

"Well Kap, it looks like my plan worked. I had a feeling that I would be targeted last night, and fortunately, the real bus driver came through for me and made the last mafioso target himself."

Good game everybody; I was skeptical about whether or not switching me with the last mafia member would work how I thought it would, but thankfully, 11clock saw things the way I did and wrote a good ending to boot. Thanks bro. :)

I actually considered targeting myself, but decided not to. Was hoping I could have offed one more person so I could have sided with crozier, but I guess it wasn't it the cards for me.

Though I thought claiming bus driver was pretty good, considering I targeted Crozier night one but killed Lucifer. I thought about claiming nexus for a second, but I wasn't sure.
