Title: Dungeons of Dredmor (PC, Mac, Linux)

Dungeons of Dredmor is a modern rogue-like game that is out-right hilarious. Also, like most rogue-likes, the game is very hard and has a permadeath system. However, the game allows you to turn off permadeath if you want to. I don't recommend it, though. Permadeath is what makes most rogue-likes fun due to the game being completely different every time you play.

A major element that Dungeons of Dredmor has is the ability to pick 7 skillsets from a huge list at the start of the game. You can even randomize!

Dungeons of Dredmor is littered with jokes and references. If you're a nerd, you would feel right at home with this game.

If you find the game to be too difficult, you can always play on "Elves Just Want to Have Fun" mode.

Love this game, I've played it quite a bit. I definitely think it deserves more attention.

My only complaint is that the floors are way too large. I would of hated this game if it wasn't for No Time to Grind mode (smaller floors, faster leveling). Over an hour on the first floor is ridiculous. Even in No Time to Grind the floors take some time to explore.

Other than that, it's a pretty sweet game. The large amount of character customization and great sense of humor outweigh the problems. The crafting system is neat, too.
