Worst Video Game Ever

Mystery

This topic is meant for what you think is quite possibly the worst video game ever made. State what it is, reasons for thinking so, and a link to it or describe what it's like.

Quite frankly, I think it's Plumbers Don't Wear Ties for the 3DO. It was a ~$50 game for a ~$700 system that bombed HORRIBLY, only utilized the 3DO's capabilities in the intro cutscene, has no actual gameplay to speak of, and the entire game can be replicated through YouTube annotations. And the only plumber in the game is wearing a tie, so you can't even trust the title. No, I'm not joking. It even controls BETTER through YouTube than the actual game. Here's a link so you can see what it's like.

Haha. I saw a little of the AVGN for that. All I could say was WOW.

Should've watched the whole episode. It gets a LOT funnier later on.

lol. That game does look super shitty...
And if they really weren't buried under cement, I bet people would've dug them up years ago... People go crazy for free shit, crappy game or not. <(commenting on the fact people say it's a myth that Atari crushed and buried the ET games in a landfill and then covered them in cement)

Well actually, Atari ran out of cement. Only ~3/4 of the games are under cement.

Haha, wow. I can believe that, considering just what the game was like.

And Action 52 is probably the 2nd worst game I can think of. The only person who shows just truly HOW BAD the game is is AVGN. While he does embellish things a lot and curse heavily, it's purely for comedic effect. He is a VERY good reviewer. *Warning- heavy cursing*

http://www.gametrailers.com/video/angry-video-screwattack/65116

Essentially, it was a crappy compilation of 52 games, 2 of which didn't even work, and the rest with stolen music, coding that a 5 year old could improve on in Game Maker, and just horrible, horrible gameplay altogether. It was an unlicensed game on the NES. ..Did I mention it cost $200 back then?

EDIT: Oh yeah, and if you played it for too long(a couple of hours, although why anyone would want to play this game that long is beyond me), it started to overheat and burn.

LOL. The fact that they ran out of cement, all the more proves that they bombed big time xD
But, how do you know they ran out of cement? Do you have a source for this, because everywhere I've read never mentioned that.
They said they were all crushed, buried & encased in cement...

T-Rok

I learned it back in the Game History section of my Game Making class. My teacher was an oldie who knew all about way back when and told us about it. So I cannot give you proof of said words, but I do believe it is a fact. xD

I have the game for my 2600 and I must say it does not make any sense. But maybe not the worst game ever.

That's because of the extreme limitations the Atari 2600 had. You can't really make a good game on it, but still, ET was probably the worst. I guarantee you, Plumbers Don't Wear Ties is infinitely worse.
