This has to be the best horror game ever made. While I'm not truly a fan of horror games (except L4D, but hey), I'd like to buy this game just to check it out. I'd like to ask about your opinion. Did you play this game? Was it scary? What did you like/dislike? Are you looking forward to playing it? etc.

Here's the trailer:

Hey krele, I remember you from back in the day!

And yes, this game is really awesome, best horror game ever.
I recommend it to anyone who wants to be scared so badly that they start screaming like a little girl who just had a nightmare at 3 AM (especially when it actually is that late and you're playing in a dark room by yourself.)

5/5 for me.

never bought amnesia but i did buy penumbra which is kick ass and made me jump a few times. although alittle slow for my tastes. what i would love to see is the guys from amnesia team up with the dead space people and make a horror game. that would be awesome.

I obtained it a few days ago, been streaming it for a friend. We're not too far yet but it's certainly scary as !@#$. I think the whole concept of having absolutely no weapons is the true scare, in that sense a game like L4D doesn't even compare. I'd recommend searching every corner for those match boxes, you don't ever want to be left in the dark.

Sly and I played it, it was insane...
Now I have to replay it back to the part I was at because i reformatted it.

Hey krele, I remember you from back in the day!
Nice to re-meet you =)

Me and my friend finished the game a month ago. It's truly amazing for a low-budget game. Graphics aren't that good, but they work well. Physics are absolutely amazing! I only wish they used the engine to a bigger extent, I expected to use physics much more. We played over skype, it was so fun. We didn't expect some stuff to be random though. He was literally screaming every other second because he encountered a mob, but I was really lucky enough to encounter only few (around 20 or so).

By the way! Cry no more, I managed to actually KILL one of them!.... well, he killed himself, but it counts as my kill =P

We were at some level with pillars everywhere we went. I barely used any light, because I was always near an enemy or two. There was one pillar that broke and fell over a hole to serve as a bridge. As soon as I jumped onto it to cross the gap, I heard familiar music that plays when you encounter an enemy. I was looking everywhere, but he was nowhere to be found. The music was becoming louder and louder, and I turned around to look at the other side again when he jumped on the pillar. I omg'd, jumped off the pillar, and the mob fell into the big hole. It was that mob with a saw in his hand, the scariest one if you ask me.
