Rick hears music...

Rick heard music coming from somewhere.. He followed the sound deeper and deeper into the cave. It was pitch black, but then he saw a faint light! It was a torch followed by a stone door in front of it. The door had a note symbol on it and read, "Only the destined gurus of music may enter this door."

Rick was curious.. he pushed on the door, the symbol turned red and rick was sucked into the door... His first quest has begun.

Albert quickly finds the source of the emanation, being a complex rune at the bottom of the lake that looks like one that would even be foreign in nature to O' Dim. There is a slight indent that looks like there was something heavy in the middle of the rune before.

"...maybe there was a large rock of some kind here before?" Albert mumbles to himself.

There are 5 contrastingly simplistic symbols in a circle around the entire rune.

Before Albert can react to anything else he saw, the rune flares up chaotically. Some of the connections drawn out don't appear to be lit up in the rune, destabilizing itself.

[Mystery]

Albert's Materia Gauntlet is drawn to the center where the indent is, and latches itself to the lake bottom. The indent starts to glow and flicker.

The 5 simplistic symbols appear to distort space around themselves as sections of the walls inside the lake start glowing. Light blue bolts charge up where each of the symbols and inaccurately strike the glowing sections of the wall. The sections are cracked out of the wall by pure force and are shaped into makeshift boulders by magic forces at the atomic level, positioning themselves where the simplistic symbols are.

While watching all of this, Albert suddenly remembers, painfully, he has run out of breath. (-5 HP)

Right when the electrifying hook is about to hit Atra, the place seems to shake and Athulil hears something happening at the Lake! Athulil withdraws the hook and heads to the North!

As the energy grows more intense, Albert feels his body's energy surge. Even though his body is still in a stone form, he is physically flying upwards and being blown back. He would be thrown several feet into the sky if not for his Gauntlet being seemingly fused to the indent.

From the outside, the lake appears to be boiling, and several geysers spurt up from its surface. The repulsion force from the large rune would certainly expel anyone else who tried to enter the lake at this point in time.

The rune flashes light purple and Albert and the Gauntlet return to normal form.

An electrifying hook enters the water for a moment, but its electrical energy is quickly dispersed by the sheer power of the rune.

It seems musical instruments have power in this place. Rick decided to put it to the test. There was a group of blobs and one was coming his way. Rick concentrated and played his drums. They emitted a gold glow and waves of energy came out striking and killing the blob in one hit!
