Megaupload has been under fire well before the SOPA hype.  They were brought down for illegal file sharing (surprise, surprise).  Not even sure if they are hosted outside of the USA (purportedly the only grounds in which SOPA can be enacted), but they've had this coming for some time.

Looks like the age ol' "We are not responsible for how our users may abuse our services" disclaimer doesn't mean farts after all!
