It's not a Pacman, it's a cross between a 'G' for Game Maker and a power switch symbol.

If only Softwrap wernt the worlds biggest piece of shit...

Haha. The top one is a little bit scary. People completely raged when they saw that it was the new logo. Yoyogames received death threats, complaints, etc.

Who the hell would send death threats because of that logo? I mean yeah, it's incredibly bad, but nor worth killing people over. (Then again, I seem to be overestimating people here...) Like the 2nd a lot better.

But yeah I'm so glad they changed the logo.
And the death threat was probably a joke, I doubt anyone really would kill just for a bad logo XD, but if they were serious, then that's just ridiculous. But yeah, the second is waaaaaaay better, that smile is just disturbing...
Im gonna miss the old one though, it was so simple, yet so... gamemakery.

Would be fine if programs using it didn't randomly decide to stop launching on my laptop :P Also pretty weird that it puts some of its registration files in your default shared/public folder on your computer.

Also Game maker traditionally has the change log in the help document under "What's New".
