Hmm... as far as I remember, when that occurs a "0" is shown. Weird, yes, it should be a string, yet reals are shown when the loading fails :S
Mine currently is showing the normal information there. I've had it happen though when it doesn't display anything. The reason it happened for me is because I was downloading something and stick online was lagging and took a bit longer to start up. Did you try re-opening it to see if it was still blank?

Funny how I was typing up my previous response and I almost did that exact same thing by using the word black instead of blank. Anyways, I'm glad it wasn't a recurring problem for you.
