I had this exact problem, and for 99% of the people who have it, the only known solution is to create a non-admin account on your PC and play it from there.

Create a default account on your computer that does not have Administrator priviledges and use it to log onto and play Stick-online, I believe.

I had the same problem here with the computer thinking that the memory that is needed to run SO is already in use: http://www.stick-online.com/boards/index.php?topic=57.0

There's some discussion on there, but what I ended up finding is that if you place the Stick online folder on another Drive(D drive, or flash drive) and right click stickonline.exe and then run it as the current user(Not administrator) it will will boot up correctly. It might have to retrieve the latest version update every single time if I remember correctly. This of course was all fixed when I decided to reformat and reinstall the operating systems for other reasons.
