You probably know by the title but anyway, my idea is where when you press the attack button (don't know the key) multiple times you attack more than just the same old boring attack. Like for example your fighting a boss, you want to kill it quickly and effectively then just the same attack over and over again so you press the attack key like 3 or 4 times and you get multiple/diffrent fast/slow attacks.
Like you press A (assuming the attack key) you do your normal attack, you press A again you jump and do a second slash, You press A for the final time and you bring your sword high up and it comes back down piercing the bosses heart. Then the boss is dead.

(attacks will vary depending on what type of weapon you have equiped).

Feel free to post your opinions on what you think.

Sorry, but this is a terrible idea. Why, because think about PVP. No one will know what kind of attack they will do to their opponent, making it harder to come up with strategies. Also, it would add way too much luck to the game. Isn't it supposed to be skill-based?

A better idea would be to have the different attacks be activated by pressing certain keys. Right now you can only do this when you're weaponless (S=Punch D=Kick). With an Inferno Sword it could be press S for a normal swing, press D for a slower but more powerful swing that creates a wave of fire (this should require more stamina to use). This would add more skill and would be way more fun creating your own combos.

Sure, it's a good idea, always been for it, but that's much more stress on the spriters. In the end, would you rather have two attacks per weapon, or more weapons?

This kind of fits into the topic, but I've always imagined aerial attacks. All that would be changed is you jumping, and in the air, when you press the attack button, you do your normal attack animation while on the ground without losing any momentum and when the animation stops, you regain control of your fall/rise.

It would be unrealistic, but could save a lot of spriting work for every weapon.
