I remember this from a long time ago, wondering if it is true. Did the GS use to give +1 DEF point? Because I am almost positive that it did.

Wooden hammer is the best stam/dmg weapon in the game so wooden hammer is way better but kats good for fast hits

Because of balancing changes. I didn't have anything against the idea of the bonus in general, just was a necessary step when balancing it a long time ago.
