While that might be true, it still holds a great deal of disrespect. While I'd love to avoid any conflicts and flame I can't help but tell you that topics like these are (or should be) considered SPAM even in the off topic section! See how serious that is?
I'm personally against it, but you can advertise matters like this via personal messages in future. Or target a community where people will give a sh!t about motor clubs.
