Forest Battle is a game based on a board game I made a while ago. Anyways...

Description: You control a team of 5 units on a large board and must defeat the other teams using a variety of obtainable weapons. There are 6 weapons and 2 utilities that you can get. The last team standing wins!

Units: Each player controls 5 units. They have to create each unit themselves, each being 32x32 and having a transparent background. They also must share a similar color, so players will know who is on who's team. All units can take 5 hit points before dieing. When a unit uses up all its hit points, it goes to the Graveyard. Lose all your units and you're out of the game.

Field: Here is the board that will be used in the game:

Grass (Can be walked on.)

Item (If one of your units land on this space, you get an item.)

Pit (Can't be walked on, but projectiles can go over it.)

Tree (Like a wall. Can't be stood upon and projectiles can't go through it.)

Turns: At the start of the game players take turns choosing where they want their units to start on the map. Once everyone's units are on the board the game starts. For each turn you can move two of your units up to 3 spaces. You can also use an utility item at this time. After you move two units or use an utility item, you can use one of your weapon items to damage other units. Then the next player goes. Friendly Fire is on at all times, so be careful where you aim. Also, you can't move or shoot/throw diagonally. Here is the format for each turn:

Items: (List of items you have. Can carry up to 12.)

Utility: (This is where you post the utility you want to use to help with unit movement.)

Movement: (Edit the board to move your units. Show a dotted red line to show the movement path for the units that moved. Please edit the board that was posted by the previous player.)

Attack: (For guns, show a path in the picture above where the projectile goes. The unit you are attacking must be within one of your units' range. For explosives, darken the area where you want the weapon to explode in the picture above. For placeables, darken the area where you want to put it. It must be placed next to one of your units.)

Turret Attack: (If you have a turret and want to attack someone with it, post here.

Items: Whenever one of your units land on an item space, you get a random item chosen by a number generator. All items can only be used once. Here are the list of items:

Guns

Pistol
Fires a projectile up to 9 spaces. The projectile takes away 1 hit point.

Shotgun
Fires many projectiles at once in a certain direction up to 6 spaces. Takes away 2 hit points.

Explosives

Grenade
Can be thrown up to 6 spaces. It creates a 3x3 explosion that takes 1 hit point away from every unit caught in the explosion.

Homing Missile
It's like a grenade, but you can steer it up to 6 spaces. Useful when one of your enemy units is behind an obstacle. Creates a 3x3 explosion that takes 1 hit point away from all units caught in an explosion.

Placeables

Land Mine
The next unit who passes the space with a Land Mine on it will trigger it. Creates a 3x3 explosion that damages all within its range.

Turret
The best item in the game I guess. For each turn it's on the field, you can make it shoot someone up to 9 spaces away. Takes away 2 hit points per bullet. Can be destroyed by explosives. Also, it acts as a wall.

Utilities

Extra Speed
Allows you to move 2 of your units up to 6 spaces instead of 3.

Warp
Moves one of your units to any location you want on the map.

If you want to join, post here! We can start the game when we get 3 players. Here is the format for joining:

Didn't you also do that one battle game similar to this, where instead of having control over an entire squad, you only had control of one?

The units included archer, warrior, mage and/or healer, and King I believe.

Actually that was hosted by someone else. It died though. :-\
