Title: Scam/Hoax Site
Post by: Forum on June 08, 2010, 06:36:26 PM
I've been going to lockers.com for the past 3 months and have over 400 points but they barely restock in the redeem section and you have to use real money just to get points in the shop section also they just keep raising the amount of points needed in the redeem... Don't go to it and don't try it out because its a scam, i hope i'm not advertising eather cause im not.

But does anyone know any sites that accually give you any money?

Maybe you should go to www.youareanidiot.com aswell, since there are websites that give out money for practically clicking. The only one I can think of is Neobux. And Forum, most websites are a scam, so make sure you research deeply into them before giving personal information/Credit card stuff.

Edit: Neobux is gone now apperantly. It went bankrupt or something.

REALLY?!  A COMPANY THAT PRACTICALLY GIVES MONEY AWAY WENT BANKRUPT?!   :o

As for lockers.com, of COURSE it's a scam.  I'm more shocked there are people who didn't realize that.  Does the internet use 20% of its user's brain cells for extra processing power as a new policy to log on or something?

How old are you? Do you really need money that badly that you would sign up for something like this? If you aren't living on the street and begging for food, and your parents are putting a roof over your head, feeding you, and paying for you to occasionally go out and have fun get over it. Get a job when you can get one or when you are forced to. Don't sign up for shady websites.

I could never redeem anything for lockerz. Within an hour of the redemption, everything is gone, except for the crappy little desktop backgrounds and lockerz advertisements. But there ARE real legit sites that give away money/prizes and stuff. Like:

Not advertising the site or giving away referrals or whatever...
Just be careful of what sites you're using and make sure it's legit so you're not just giving away your info or wasting your time.

you can always go mow lawns? a lemonade stand? you can be whatever age and make money! its not hard! just can't be lazy. go buy candy thats on sale at the grocery store and sell it for more, pick up dog poop, whatever. Or if you are really desperate, walk the corner or join the group of mexicans that hangout outside of the donut shops looking for people in need of illegal immigrants to do yard work.

Sorry, any website that gives out free money or expensive for nothing is a scam. I know a couple that reward you for completing surveys and send you gift cards and stuff like that. But most of them require a lot or surveys, and only have a few at a time that may be designated towards your age group/gender or whatever.

I've been registered at that site for a while, Heroic. It's nice if you're able to get up to the higher honour levels. I've went with that site along with another site that I can actually get money from spending a bit of time. Not much money, but still. :P

This topic makes me lol. Seriously, if you need money, have a garage sale, or something. I can't imagine that at your age, you really need a lot of money, except to buy some video games that you'll only play for a month or 2 anyways... I mean, I'm sure your parents will give you money if you want to go see a movie with your friends or something. And if they won't, offer to do some jobs around the house that they'll pay you for.

My mom signed my family up to do these surveys for money awhile back & each survey was a certain amount of points & each one took like 20 minutes. And you had to accumulate a huge ass number of points to get like $20. It turned out you needed to do like 100 surveys to get $20 and of course you could only take the surveys when they sent them to you. So pretty sure we all just stopped doing em after awhile. lol. Like everone else said, most those websites are a scam and in my opinion, just a huge waste of time.

Get rich quick schemes don't work!

Anyway, as a 16-year-old I know it's a pain for young people to get jobs, but just submit applications EVERYWHERE and actually call the places you apply to show that you're really interested.

Actually that's an ignorant statement because the standard of living for people who work in the sweat shops is readily increasing. Without getting into detail, let me just point out that considering the alternative of working in the fields, those people in so called sweatshops now actually are provided food, shelter, and I have heard from people I know who actually supervise such things...there are things such as movie theaters and whatnot in them. Also the workers aren't usually 3-year-olds either. Now obviously I can't speak for every person working in sweatshops...but do realize that a lot of those people working in sweatshops make better money from the life they were living prior in the fields. I know you were just joking but I just had this conversation earlier today with the president of some "sweatshop" in China so I figured why not shed some light on the matter. ;)

And as for this topic...honestly if the first thing that pops into your mind when it comes to a need for making money is finding some website that will pay you...you have to be the biggest !@#$ing idiot I have ever seen in my life. Don't even try to sugarcoat shit by saying "oh please, its in the offtopic section so just cater to my senseless needs". Assuming your parents aren't as completely dumbfounded as yourself, ask them for advice on getting a job...OR just go take up a job at Burger King, because from my observation of basically everything you post on this forum I'd say that kind of job fit for somebody of your stature. Christ...
