I haven't seen a topic like this yet, so I just wanted to ask, what's everyone been up to?
I've been doing alright. Currently finishing up what is left of my senior year, planning to take more city college classes next semester. Other than that I've just been lazing and gaming and existing.

This is me right now ^.
Senior year in high school getting ready for college. Getting good grades, everything is pretty chill right now.... between school, gaming, and the occasional party...gotta love being a senior.
I'm just a Freshman :x. I have been gaming a lot lately, and I have been working out a lot more than usual lately. Um.... what else have I been doing? Let's see... Oh, I have been working on a Grand Theft Auto clone on Game Maker. It's looking pretty nice so far.
I graduated a couple years ago, just been taking it easy working at different places, planning on joining the Air Force or Navy and building a career out of that. Been helping my family out, trying to get in shape for the service, and relaxing with friends until I have to get serious for the military.

Well I wish you luck on everything :)
There isn't really much to do besides play on the computer out here, I live out in the middle of no-where.
I have been doing pretty well (: I been real sick recently, feel like crap. Still hate school aha nothing's changed about that. I'm a sophmore btw. Get my braces off December 8th! Very excited for that. Been playing Forza 4 lately on Xbox 360. I plan on not getting any of the 3 notable releases.
I'm busy being a sophomore in highschool procrastinating for the most part, until Thanksgiving Break (next week) to last-minute everything in 7 days.

Junior here. Don't worry, you will be able to procrastinate through junior year as well. I've taken 4 AP classes and the rest honors and I still manage to procrastinate like a !@#$ing boss.
Sorry you are sick GiS :( So what is everyone doing for Thanksgiving? :)
I get to spend the whole Thanksgiving break typing a 8-10 page essay on Botswana for World Geography. :-\ If I would've taken it as a freshman, I wouldn't be in this situation. The World Geo teacher for sophomores (and some juniors) makes us write essays on every chapter we do, and now we get one giant one on South Africa...
Other than that, I'm just fine!

4 :o
Do you have 2 elective AP classes? Sounds like it doesn't leave much room for fun classe
2 AP and 2 PreAP on my end.
Yeah, I am busy with school and stuff. Been doing a bit of fine arts stuff, like guitar and drawing. Been playing with pastels, charcoal, and the like.

Y'all have different teachers in the same subject for different grades? Wow, our school must be small, we have the same teachers for the same subjects for all grades.
Example: Algebra teacher teaches 9-12 grade
Currently waiting for my birthday. I'm asking for Skyrim and Super Mario 3D Land (Finally, my 3DS gets some use other than virtual console games!). Been struggling with money. It's difficult to make games without money on your side. Graphic designers and most music composers are out of the question, so it's difficult to make a game with at least decent quality.
Also been struggling with the amount of Atheists on the internet and negative quotes to Christianity, it's tough to tolerate all of that, especially the fact that most of the stuff against Christianity is just complete garbage and untrue. For example, we aren't goody goody people who think we are better than others...well...we shouldn't be. Everyone is evil, Christian and Atheist, and none of us deserve anything but the fires of Hell. Eternal life is a gift to Christians, but we don't deserve it at all. This is just one of many things I want to get off my chest concerning mislead thoughts to Christianity. I would like to discuss this further in another topic or via PM, to prevent this topic from getting off track.
Anyways, currently a junior in high school. The other students annoy the crap out of me, but my teachers are nice and respectful. I've been getting As and Bs. US History is probably my hardest class. TOO...MUCH...READING! Image Editing 1 (Photoshop) is fun. I recently finished making a movie poster for a ridiculous movie I made up called "Half Man Half Horse All Awesome." I'll post the movie proposal later, for laughs and giggles. Chemistry is pretty lame. Even the teacher knows it sucks, so in order to keep us paying attention he gives each PowerPoint a theme, such as Scooby Doo or Terminator. One PowerPoint even had Hamster Dance playing for like 5 minutes strait. To be honest, these themes are more distracting than helping, and completely unnecessary.
I'm working on a stock market game for the iPhone, but due to my procrastination it's not done and it should be on the app store by now. I still haven't looked at my Objective C book so I can get into more advanced coding, and it's been a year since I was received that book. Coding is intimidating, but my love for video games won't let me give up.
Currently excited for Minecraft 1.0 and Terraria 1.1. With the full version of Minecraft coming out I can finally play the game again (I vowed to not play it until full release so it will feel like a whole new game). Terraria 1.1 looks fantastic, and I would definitively pay extra money for it. They're adding wires, based on redstone in Minecraft for more advanced structures. Deep Corruption looks cool, but I hope that the Corruption won't be overpowered and eat up your world in a matter of days. I know almost nothing about the new Hallow biome, other than that it can be used to fight the Corruption and is most likely a peaceful biome with no aggressive monsters.
I have no idea whats planned for Thanksgiving. It will most likely involve relatives.
Seems like you got a lot going on :o My least favourite class would probably be Algebra 1. I do not really understand much of it, but I am getting by with a B+ surprisingly. I had a FFA Quiz team meet, and 700-800 people showed up. My anxiety disorder got the best of me, and I hid on the bus.
I am hoping to get MW3 for Christmas. If not, there is always TPB. I have been writing programs on our Algebra class's TI-84 calculator. Pretty fun :)

Actually, my friends say that junior year is the most important at my school because of the classes that you get the chance to pick, like AP Psychology (apparently, colleges in the area like to see that for some reason) and tons of more AP/Honors classes (Freshmen don't get ANY AP/Honors, Sophomores only get up to 2)

We have a freshman high school specifically for 9th graders, as our high school ran out of room. Therefore, the World Geo. teacher at the freshman high and high school are different, but since it's a generally a freshman course, he only teaches one block of it (block schedule ftw) to those few that didn't have enough time as a freshman to take it. But yeah, other than that, our teachers teach all grade levels 10-12.
On a side note @FFA, you'll have a break when you get to Geometry =p, I took it as a freshman and all it is is writing proofs of theorems. :-\
@jmac i took it too and i hated theorems............omg there was sooo many but other than tht geometry is really a easy class :D
You have 2 different high schools? O.O Our school is all on one campus, all in walking distance from eachother :O You have a big school, I see? We only have around 150 kids in PK-12. (One class per grade)
Off topic, this is a screenshot of a game I am making.

Also, Skyrim Skyrim Skyrim and Skyrim. Skyrim Skyrim Skyrim Skyrim Skyrim Skyrim. Skyrim Skyrim Skyrim.
Other than that, been playing some Skyrim. Pretty !@#$ing good. :D

I have been hearing a lot of good things about that game. I might try it out sometime.
I have also been having some trouble with the health system on my game. If anyone wants to help it with it, could you PM me?

150 kids in K-12 TOTAL? or per grade? either way, that is hella small. o.o My graduating class alone was 440 seniors.
Anyways, I've been going to classes mostly, about to finish up my AA(liberal arts) degree this semester. No idea what I'm doing after that.
My boyfriend and I just had our 5 year anniversary together. He's got a lot of family crap going on, so trying to help him through that. :/
Haven't been drawing nearly as much as I would like to... But every time I look at Deviant Art it just makes gives me tons of ideas and now I don't know where to start. lol. I've also started making some jewellery which is fun but takes tonnns of patience x.x
For thanksgiving we're going to my aunt's house and will probably do the traditional drink apple cider, eat more delicious food than humanly possible, eat pie, have some type of contest to see who will get the turkey trophy this year, etc.
I occasionally have to go in and poke Chaos with a stick just to make sure he's still alive, since he's locked up in his man cave playing Skyrim Skyrim Skyrim. ;P
Work...Seriously, enjoy high school while it lasts. I didn't, but it doesn't get any better from there (well maybe college is more fun, but once that's over say good bye to your life.)
But even more seriously, I've been focusing on work a lot lately, but it's kind of a good thing. My "division" of the company is going really well. I plan on doubling revenue in 2012. I've been trying to hire someone for an accounting position. Hiring is freaking difficult. Already hired one person that lasted a week before we realized he was horrible.
Over the holidays (the rest of the year) we'll be crazy busy with implementations and new client intake. For Thanksgiving it's sounding like we're going to do the regular hang out at my mom's place in the morning, drive an hour to hang out at my wife's aunt/uncle's house for a massive Thanksgiving with probably 100 people I don't know (she doesn't know half of them either), and then drive an hour and have dessert back at my mom's. We'll probably have twice the amount of food we should, just like any good Thanksgiving. And I'm hoping that someone will make me their famous pumpkin cheescake pie (this one is different than you would think, it's more like a pumpkin pie than like a cheesecake.)
Oh, and recently moved out of our apartment, put 75% of our stuff in storage, and moved in with my mom. It's not as bad as you might think. They have a huge house so we have the guest room with an attached full bathroom, and an extra room that we have our sofa and TV in so we can hang out without being with my family all the time. The reason for all of this is because we're making the final push to buy a house. This will put us in a good position to be able to move on something when we find it. This way we don't have timing issues or double rent or any sort of nonsense. But, with my schedule, we probably won't start looking until after the new year. So we'll see how it goes.
@Lingus, good luck on buying the house :) I hope y'all have a fun Thanksgiving.

Holy.... :-\ Dude, you really do live in the middle of nowhere...We have a high school in every town (about 8-9 miles apart) and each one has about 300 kids per grade. I don't even understand how you can only have 150 kids.
Btw, I've been replaying a bunch of DS games on my CycloDS (similar to R4) and I recently replayed The World Ends With You. It's still the best RPG on any handheld console other than the Final Fantasy games and original Pokemon. :D

Meh, I have Chrono Trigger for the SNES, I played the DS version through once and it's pretty good. Either way, the best thing about Chrono Trigger was the post-game, trying to get multiple endings, while FF is good all the way through. :P
EDIT: Overall, Square Enix kicks ass...'nuff said.

Haha, my graduating class had ~1000 people in it, our high school was reallllly packed. So many people went there instead of the other schools because it is the best high school in our state.
I don't see how you can have a school with that many kids in it, I would be way too stressed out.
Just to show how small our little town is, there was a cow out in the parking lot, and everyone knew who's cow it was. -.-
As for games, I have been playing the classic COD4 on my laptop. I have the disk for it, but sadly I can't seem to find the keycode. I met a new girl, and she is really fun to be around. I nick named her me?ique :)
To be honest I hated it. There shouldn't have been that many people in one school. The school was pretty big but the hallways were always really crowded. Also it was almost impossible to find a lunch table.
and lol at the cow in the parking lot ;D
There are at least 4000 kids at my school. Pretty crowded.
