POWDER is a roguelike RPG game. It may not be famous, but I really like it. It is one of the most challenging games I've played so far, making 20 tries, but it is very fun to learn everything a 25 floor dungeon holds. You can follow a god, where you can be sparred before your death if you meet what they like. If you continuously do things a god hates, you're more likely to fall in oblivion from whatever that particular god did. The dialog can be scrolled with any key, so you're more likely going to miss some important messages at the moment. You can save in the game, but you should only use it when you need to take a break, not when you think you are going to die. I really recommend looking at the tutorial and reading the help about Gods.
My high score ($) is 1368. It is well earned, but anyone could beat that.

Ha, I remember playing this on my DS back in the day. Quite a classic in its own right.
