Hey, I am working on a project. I know I am not suppose to post my games on here, but this isn't to advertise, and this game won't ever really be released to the public most likely, its for my friends. I wanted to know if one of you from the S.O community could program an inventory and block/collecting engine for me? I am not very educated in GML, and I have no clue what I am doing. As you can see from my "scripts" so far, the blocks are simply placed with key presses. It's seriously sadly simple. I know it's a long shot, but would one of you atleast try? :)

This was created in Game Maker 8.
I'll gladly help teach/explain to you and help you with one. But I won't program the whole thing for you.

Alright, I understand. Could you take a look at the engine I already have put up, though? I just don't know if it will even be compatible with what I already have :/
Inventories are always compatible. But yes, it will work quite easily.
Hey, I think I have a simple "inventory" system worked out already. It's not really that great, but I think it will do for now.
I suggest you to try out ds_* functions. Stacks, maps and even lists could work. If you still need help feel free to PM me.
