Jake is active on the forums. At least, he's more active than ever. DeathSnake was gone even when S.O. was public.

Some of the people on there aren't on the team anymore. On the side note, who is Duckimancer and Pandalady?? I think you have all of them though.

Are Pandalady and Duckimancer from way back? Because I don't remember/know either.

Yeah, Panda and Ducki are from way way back. I think they were both Mods though. . .

Post by: Meiun on November 13, 2009, 09:15:40 PM
The only people on that list who are technically still officialy on the team are Danimal, Seifer, Venuse (though he choses to not moderate at this time), Bella (though not very active recently due to time limitations), myslef, and with the addition of Delcious (though not technically a "mod" at this time).

They were not really mods, and from way back in black and white SO quite a few years ago. They were just friends with much of the team.

Hahaha wow. Im damn surprised you remember him. That was my brother, who made most of the graphics for the original black and white stick online. He barely EVER played, and when he did it was a very long time ago.

I didn't think Mog was ever actually a Mod.

Post by: DarkTrinity on November 14, 2009, 10:50:01 PM
Oh wow.. ducki and panda... I don't think either of them stuck around long enough to play the colored version... If they did, it must've been for a very brief period of time...

And yeah.. half those people aren't even considered mods.
Even without mod powers, I can still boss you kids around and keep you in line with a good old fashion beat down with a stick ;P

Back before I stepped aside, we had Xirod helping with some of the graphics, mostly for the website and such.  He would assist me with the styling, and rob was a forum moderator that I brought on to the team.  They both quickly vanished and I haven't heard from them since.  Snakeman was actually a short-lived mod that I brought on the forums back before the donor server was back online, but he was swiftly left out to dry when I took the old forums down.

I don't know if you could classify me as active... Although I'm around.. This game just doesen't need moderation as it stands, it's all doners, and you all know how to act. The forum is almost self-moderated in itself aswell, and when posts are reported I get the email for it and deal with it, unless one of the other mods beat me to it. But I would hardly say I'm "active".

Agreed. Most of these members are too mature, and give great responsibility and know the consequences of their actions. Exactly because we have the more respected and loving community on the donor SO, which really needs no moderation. However, you better be getting ready once SO3 hits, my boy.  ;)
Also, with reference to the forum, Stick-online currently has 461 members of a fanbase so far. That's huge.

If thats what it takes to be a veteran, I probably don't qualify. I beleive I started playing two days after the Christmas event, and kicked myself in the ass for it.

HIJOKE joined around the same time as me. We were both there at the time the B&W version was released. Me and HIJOKE used to organise PvP wars in the Original one that could handle 3 players. took a long time as people had to log off and on when it was there matches etc. . .
But I didn't add him there as he isn't really still around. He just got back from overseas and is now playing some other MMO that he is Mod of.

Oh so they still need to be playing. I did not know.

Yea, in my mind, I've always considered people who started before the desert update to be sort of veteran status. But I agree. I think there will be a new category of veterans for everyone in the community before SO2 public went down.

I would deffinatly think of veterans as anyone who was there when Meiun announced he was remaking SO, which we would later refer to as SO2.
