Well guys im getting surgery to get my gallbladder removed on the 15th, i hope it goes all well, apparently it will stop alot of my pain and dizziness
shit,im 11 and this is my second surgery.
i was born with so many health problems T.T
i didn't have any surgeries till i was 16, then i had two in one weeks, i hated it,
sorry to hear that though GL
hope you live ^-^
you will, its a minor one compared to the other ones out there
I had my soul, and human compassion removed alongside with my umbilical cord.
theres a little bit more risk, only because there doing "exploratory surgery" to find out whats all wrong with my stomach, so after they get the gallbladder removed there gonna look around :p
Abdominal surgery is always more risky, and the recovery more painful. Do you know if they are cutting you open or using laparoscopy? The former being more invasive with a longer and more painful recovery time, the latter is easier to deal with.
In any case, good luck to you. I haven't been through it myself, but I have helped a couple people through semi-major surgery like this. It's very difficult. Hope everything turns out well and they find and/or fix whatever problems you are having.
sorry to hear that thekolla. i had a few surgeries when i was young as well, 2 hernia and another i prefer not to say on a forum :P. wish you the best of luck.
Dang thats to bad, Only thing Iv'e had to have had surgery for was getting my tonsils removed, and I don't even think that counts as surgery, anyways, I wish you the best of luck.

Hell, they had to dig into my pelvis to scoop my left testicle out of my stomach to let it drop! Problem is... I think it dropped too far! Who has no shame? THIS GUY!
That sucks. Best of luck, I hope everything turns out well for you.
thanks guys, ill keep you updated
surgeon says for about a week all ill want to do is sleep after the surgery, but eh no school for a week ;)
scotty that is the surgery that i didnt want to mention although i dont remember which testy. did they stitch your testy down? they did mine and now if i cough too hard it hurts :P
on a side note, to anyone, if you know some one that is healing from an undescended testicle operation, for the love of god dont make them watch a funny tv show or movie. laughing while healing from this operation is like ripping your ball from your groin.
sorry for hijacking your topic thekolla
ehh dont worry i dont care if people post about them on meh topic :p. but i found out there gonna do a laparoscopy.
I thought passing a kidney stone was painful, reading this topic is making me cringe...
Good luck!
Passing a kidney stone is not only painful, it's F'N PAINFUL!!!
That Iraqi water caused me to piss flaming rocks from Satan's ass-crack!!

Oh good. That's definitely an easier procedure. Not that it won't still be difficult to go through.
Good luck!

Yep, that's the down side to laparoscopic surgery. They do that because everything is still all closed up and they can't move the organs around with out there being space in between them. The gas creates that space. It takes a little while to absorb into your body and be released. They say moving around, even though it's really painful, helps move that process along. So even if you're hurting, try to move around a bit every so often.
Hope your recovery goes well.
Ugh, I just had my gall bladder removed last year, it truly is suckage. It's a bitch to try to walk and move at all really...Well I hope everything goes well man...Have fun eating eating sorbet and chicken broth, Lolololol...No, but really, take it easy man and I wish you all the best. :)
My mum had to have surgery a few years ago because of an ear problem that ate away at her bones. They had to drill her bones to get rid of it and its apparently a very painful and uncomfortable operation and my mum couldn't walk without help or do anything for like 2 weeks after it. Apparently it also is hereditary so I have to look out for that :/
Good luck on your recovery, the only time I've been to hospital was when I snapped my arm bone, I bent my hand all the way back to my elbow :D
I had a surgery 16 years ago...I'm 16...lol. It was basically brain surgery, they had to cut my head open from one ear, across the top of my head to the other ear and I still have a scar...and if i wouldnt have had the surgery I would have died and I wasnt even one years old. Then my parents got paranoid and made me wear a helmet until I was like 4 because they were afraid of me hitting my head...which I can totally see, I would probably do the same with my child. But the disease I had was...very difficult to spell...XD haha. Something like Craniosinostosas, its basically the swelling of the brain, and so they had to remove a bone from my head. I also got a peice of metal embedded into my eye once and had to go to the doctor and get it drilled out...fun times...but other then that I have just had a few broken bones and stuff. But gullbladder surgery shouldnt be TO bad...you'll be fine! just think of the playstation afterwards. Pwn some noobs one it! =P
