Title: Reducing an AVI file.
Post by: Matty_Richo on January 27, 2010, 01:50:21 AM
Does anyone know the best way to decrease the size of a 350mb avi file to around 320mb.
I have a bunch of videos to put on DVD that add up to 4.44gb but the DVD can only take 4.38.
So if anyone knows how to do this. The file is xvid avi.

Tried zipping it?
Or you could convert it to another file format, like mp4 or rmvb(i think)

Or if you want to reduce the file size and you don't mind if the quality is a little damaged, you could try reducing the bitrate, or even the videos scale size.
