I'm sure any Diablo 2 fanatics have already heard about this long overdue patch, but for those of you that haven't, tomorrow (aka today in 6 minutes) patch 1.13 will be released! This patch contains some very Very important updates, like for instance the ability to re-spec your skills if you make a mistake. There are also some other extremely awesome updates, like my personal favorite, "Removed Oblivion Knight's Iron Maiden curse." !@#$ YES. NO MORE BEING AFRAID OF MONSTERS I CAN SLAP TO DEATH WITH MY BARE HANDS!
*ahem*, Also, the Ladder is going to reset tomorrow, which tempts me to start playing online once again, maybe Hardcore since they've removed the requirement for it.
For a full list of updates, heres the 1.13 patch notes.

If D2 happens to run on this laptop, I look forward to seeing some of you online!
Nice, I have the game, but I haven't played in a while. hmm... maybe I should reinstall it! :)
:D
Sadly, I can never play D2 again... I will become consumed by its awesomeness.

:<, Don't say such blasphemy!
I started a fire sorc today in hardcore, had a team of around 5 people. Then we got to rakanishu, which bumrushed me, and my entire team didn't seem to give a crap that suddenly there was a weak sorc next to it, so they all attacked it at once, causing it to implode in my face.
Gata love battle.net!
How long ago was the previous update?
And by the way, why do you have an Ovan avatar, Lucifer?
They patched Diablo 2. Maybe I can have hope HL3 will come. VALVE FALLO BILLZERD HERE
D2 has been getting patches pretty regularly... considering how old the game is. Asking for HL3 (or do you mean HL2:Ep3?) would be more like asking for Diablo 3. Which if Valve follows Blizzard in that regard we won't see it for a long long while.
oh i did not know.

The Passing delayed, Portal 2 in development, face it: EP3 is a lost cause.

I certainly wouldn't say that. It might take a while. But I'd rather wait a while for a quality product. Which Valve always produces. I really doubt they are just going to drop their greatest and most well known IP part way through.

Actually, the voice actor for Wallace Breen, Robert Culp, died not too long ago. Whats even worse, people think that he was supposed to come into VALVe studios to do some voice clips for Wallace Breen in Episode 3. They were supposed to be clips that tell what was going on behind the scenes of the Combine.
Still don't know if he got the chance to record any, but Robert was !@#$ing awesome. Sucks that he went out in such a small bang (his death was due to a fall on his way home).

I have a feeling its going to be like mother 3.

Theres also digital voice enhancement should they need someone to replace him.
Uhh, Anyways, Me, Chaos, Jake, Scotty, and an RL friend of mine all played Diablo 2 the other day. It's amazing how fun this game still is after all these years.
Yah, i decided I couldnt be bothered buying it, so I started to torrent it and blew my internet bandwidth. But Optus failed and i got about 400meg at full speed past the bandwidth limit (even after the site updated -TWICE- and said My interet would be slowed down.) Anyway so i got like 50% of it, but its Diablo 2 plus the expansion.
I hope to play it soon :D
Good luck playing on battle.net?

Oh that's cool. I guess you don't really want b.net anyways since there's so many duped/hacked crap flooding it.
Anyways, I can't really play this game anymore. Not that I'm bored with it or anything, I could probably play hours and hours still. Unfortunately I don't really have the time. Plus I'm never around when you guys are and I really like playing it with friends. It's a different experience than playing solo. I dunno what I'm going to do when d3 comes out. Probably just run through solo maybe. I can't remember how the single player mode worked in d2. Does it let you save the game at any point you want and you can pick up right where you stopped, or are there save points?
