Hey idk if any of you have heard of this game it's called Arcanists and it is made by Jagex, same people who made Runescape. It's basically a magic version of worms, you play as an arcane wizard and use an arsenal of spells to defeat your opponent(s). You can play free but don't get all of the spells. Membership costs $5 a month and you get access to all the member portions of the rest of the games on www.funorb.com In Arcanists being a member gains you access to 8 extra spell books, and it is well worth it because the member spells are pretty awesome. The only down side to this game atm is the server lag, its not extremely laggy, and is caused by there only being 1 free to play server. The lag doesn't make it unplayable don't worry. Anyways, you can play rated games as a member and earn wands to unlock spells and gain rating. After you buy all the spells you can prestige and trade your spells in and start over with a new icon over your head. You can prestige a total of 10 times and with each prestige you must have a certain rating to earn wands.

There are a total of 8 free maps and 1 member map. You can adjust the turn time(yes it is a turn-based game), the map, players allowed, free for all or team game. It is a very fun game and I recommend you give it a try. Have fun :P

I stopped playing Jagex shit a long time ago , at some point you gotta pay , you don't have anywhere to go. Just play Teeworlds , tons of fun.
Thanks to Danimal for choosing my account for reactivation.

It's meh. The graphics aren't what I would expect from Jagex, with their vast community of subscribers to Runescape, and the gameplay doesn't make it unique from other Worm type games. I didn't even complete the tutorial because of boredom.

Huh, I thought I was the only one who played/knew about Arcanists =P
What would be the minimum requirements to play SO on my computer?
i7 core running at 3.6 ghz 16gb ram minimum with at least 2 x ATI Radeon HD 4870. Best played with full surround sound and a 30" widescreen moniter.

If you didn't complete the tutorial how can you judge it right off the bat? The multiplayer is fun. The graphics are unique and cartoonish, and the gameplay requires some skill in aiming bombs etc, even if not unique the gameplay is good..

The tutorial had a section for every spell, and then it threw the sandbox at you. About 5 spells, and 10 minutes for each one is close to an hour tutorial. I believe that's enough to have an impression of the game.
