Hey guys!

I was thinking a good way to use gold! What if you can make a shop that you can spend 200,000 gold to buy a stat point, or spend 150,000 to restat your character (prices can be set to whatever is neccesary, just a rough idea)

Has been suggested since like, forever.

Seriously.

No.

First things first, I think you've failed to realize that the current version of stick online is no longer in development. Most ideas for V2 will be simply ignored by Meiun, unless you put some real effort into them. But lets get past that and pretend this is an idea for Stick Online V3 (Assuming V3 is still in need of uses for gold, which I doubt.), No. Purchasing Stat Points would, bluntly put, ruin the PvP system as we know it, and in effect, the game itself. SO would suddenly turn into whoever plays the most and sells the most lewt is the most powerful. From what I understand, Meiun tries very hard to make the game balanced enough so that lower levels still have a chance against higher levels in PvP, purchasable stat points would destroy any attempt at balancing instantly.

Purchasing Stat Resets has been brought up numerous times, and usually shot down. This is because many people go through hell to level up a specific build, say, pure agility, and suddenly a stat reset comes along and now everyone has pure agility trouble-free. I don't think it's neccesary, however I have an alternative. How about, instead of a stat reset, an undo button? Perhaps, after you level, you get some advice from a friend and wish you hadn't allocated those stat points into agility. Simply click the big shiny undo button, and you get your last stat point back, or, maybe more than one. *shrug*

I like stats resets. But what i mean by stats reset is you reset every stat even your level. Or its basically making a new account at level 1 but keeping the same name/items. You don't get to keep the points from last time and all the points rest back to zero.

For the sake of not causing confusion, lets call that a Character Reset. I can't say I have anything against it, I could see myself wanting to start my character over, but not go through the painful process of reacquiring my loot. Would this be something you could purchase? Or gain via a quest?

Sure in the current game its more of an achievement to level a certain build, but definitely for Stick Online 3, I think a form of stat resetting would be quite handy... I'd love to be able to try out different builds, and it'd add more flavour to the game.

I have no problem with a high cost stat reset. People work hard for gold, and this will be doubly so if there is actually a use for it (other than the stat reset). Getting to level 100+ and realizing your stat build sucks or that you have some wasted points is frustrating. You've spent all that effort to level up, and now you want to fine tune your build. If you have the determination to raise enough gold for it, I say you have the right.
