@Scotty/Meiun: When I said screamo I had only just listened to the victory song that Scottie's team member played. That was the screamo I was referring too.

By (my) definition, I don't consider that a screamo song/band.  I would consider bands like Silverstein, It Dies Today, a lot of the American/Canadian mainstream bands with screaming vocals to be screamo (a majority of emo/punk bands originate from the US), or at least falling under the category of pseudo-screamo.  As far as Bloodsimple, I would classify them as just an American metal band.

Although it is sort of interesting in that a lot of the screamo bands apparently are coming out of Europe now... Some things that originate in America were meant to just gracefully die off...

I'm not huge on Death metal, and the few bands of this genre I do listen to, it's after a lot of careful consideration. With that said, In Flames is probably the best Death Metal band out there. No one holds a flame to them.

Not often I agree with Seifer, this is definitely one of those times!  I'll fully agree that I think they are likely the most well-known and highest regarded in their genre, likely due to being one of the biggest pioneers of the Melodic Death Metal genre (alongside "At The Gates", and "Dark Tranquility").

While out Christmas shopping I just found a "Bieber" necklace at Hot Topic. . . (if you don't know what hot topic is, it's like a goth/punk/emo store selling things like rock bands t-shirts and movie memorabilia and etc.)
I got a little sick.

I got sick from just walking past that place.

It's always short asian girls or...short white guys in there. They all try to be original and special, but in doing so they end up just like the rest of their skinny jean wearing, dyed fringe haired, "the cake is a lie" shirt wearing, silly friends. I may just be in a bad area though, but I hear so much shit about that place that I don't think location is a factor. I may just hate emo people and emo people may just tend to congregate at Hot Topic, but the merchandise in the store is also terrible. Have you heard about the recent trollface t-shirts? I may have an aneurysm if I come across someone wearing it in real life. It's "pre-packaged 'cool'", as maddox would put it.

I rarely see asian kids in there. But seeing as you don't shop there (therefore you are never actually in the store) I can see how you would make that mistake. And actually, I think the people that work in my neighborhood Hot Topic are some of the friendliest people. They look different, but they always seem way nicer than the Hollister employees... >_>

I've seen them get an influx of Adventure Time shirts in there, which I personally am more than pleased with, because Adventure Time is !@#$ing badass.

And yet I've ALSO seen them get an influx of meme shit, lots of it from 4chan, and that pisses me the !@#$ off, because it's just even MORE commercialization off of the internet. And of course douchebags are going to eat it right up and I'm going to have even more memes rammed down my throat where I would LEAST enjoy it: Away from the internet.

All in all, it's a love-hate thing I have going with Hot Topic. But for the most part they're a pretty big supplier in the t-shirts that I have based my style on, so yeah.

Probably the one cartoon on today that I actually enjoy.
