Yeah, it's just a simple add-on.  Kinda funny how even Google has a hard time with Internet Explorer heh.

As far as the capabilities of it, I've been experimenting with their API's to see what I can come up with.  I guess I just need to think of some practical uses for what a good extension would be. 
Being that their gadgets are made entirely out of XML and Javascript, just like every other Google gadget, it should't be hard at all to come up with a couple of cool gadgets for it!
