The portal melts, flickering with weakness. The sun burns down on the desolate windswept desert, burning all. Dirt becomes scorching hot and vaporizes, leaving behind baren rock. Temperatures skyrocket smelting the mountain to a level lake of molten stone. The rocks melted, heated, superheated untill their viscocity was like water. They burned a whole through the ground, forming a roiling sea out of the Northeast, all consumed by furious flame. The portal to world 3, unable to survive in such harsh conditions, teleported itself to the North, which was completely unaffected by the ruin in the Northeast.
