wandering where it went...played it once then stopped and wanted to play some more but its gone...and no other 2d online games are up besides SO....i looked on youtube for some games like SO but couldn't find any...why???i love SO but its kinda boring and wanted to find another game to play for awhile then once i got bored with that game i would probaly come back to this one. and didnt this game copy SO? did meiun sew nightfall online?

No, Meiun didn't sue. Nightfall Online was made by (I assume) a good friend (JaketheSnake) of Meiun and the rest of the SO community.

It was a very fun game but I also don't know where it went.

Yup, the game was created and run by members of the team previously. Nightfall Online doesn't have much of a similar concept to Stick-Online other than there being stats, an inventory, drops, monsters, and a character, which aren't much in the overall variety of different Gamemaker games. It was a fun game when people were online, there was discussion of re-opening again a few weeks ago actually.

oh and this guy (don't know who he just said he played SO with me) checked out this game...they coppied SO..him and i both think it.we already had a topic about it but i just want to say that  :o

And Jake was rewriting the entire game or something. It's been 1-2 years since the latest version? Anyways, Lingus was hosting a server, but it wasn't very populated and it's probably been down.

 I LOVE this game and would play it all the time if it was up! The gm's were amazing they had spawn partys all the time! good times good times wish it would be brought back up :(

play arcane adventures, its like nightfall online but more complete. im a mod on it. its 2d and made in game maker

When was there ever a rumor that NFO copied SO? That's kind of crazy. It is a well known fact that Jake was on the SO team, and that he also makes GM games. Even at first glance, both games are entirely different. They have similarities, but so do many games. They happen to be in similar genres.

Dude, Gran Turismo totally copied Super Mario!  You have to use a controller to play the game on a television set... You have to get from point A to point B in the least amount of time possible, you have to avoid getting hit by the other NPCs, yep, Gran Turismo totally ripped off Super Mario!

Yeah it did. I'm pretty sure he just copy and pasted the exe and renamed it...
