Happy Independence Day, or for those of you not in the US, enjoy your non-holiday 4th day of the month!  Eat delicious bbq-ed food and try not to blow yourselves up!

WOOT!!!! Tip: If you wait until tomorrow, most firework places (Black Cat) will be giving away their excess fireworks for cheaper prices than normal, or free :) me and my brother abuse this every year and get a crapton of bottle rockets ::).

Mr Pwnage

Sat outside for three hours slow cooking a delicious steak and two husks of corn while throwing back some brew, couldn't ask for a better day... Minus the rain of course...

Laid on the beach right in front of where they launch the fireworks in my city, literally as close as you could possibly get to the source. Amazing, the way the fireworks would make colored shadows on the smoke was !@#$ing beautiful.

Happy 4th peeps.

Not a good idea to do that. My brother knows someone who got too close to the source and one of the sparks landed on him. Ouch...

I'm sure that a pretty common occurrence when blowing shit up... When setting off some of my more sketchy fireworks with questionable fuses I can tell you that at least 4 or so have straight up exploded on me. Best thing you can do right after you light it is turn your head to protect your eyes, and try to not light too many multiple ones...

My dad, cousins, and I were trying to set off fireworks on July 2nd, but the wind kept blowing out our fire. Also we forgot bug spray, too, which lead me to getting 14 mosquito bites in 10 minutes.
