My game won't start up, help plz

I bought Mass Effect on steam, and i downloaded it. When i went to start playing, the steam box saying that Mass Effect is starting up comes up, then it disappears like the game is about to start, then a windows box pops up saying that the program has stopped working. I even moved my whole steam folder to my second hard drive and redownloaded it, and it didn't work. I can't even find a number to contact steam for technical support....

my laptop actually has 2 hard drives, both 70 gb, and the second one was blank until i put the steam folder in it.
edit: i know about that way to contact them, but i still havent gotten any response from them, as to why i was looking for a number to contact them.

your integrated graphics are not going to cut it for a game like this.

wow... talk about completely lame... and seeing as how it is a laptop, i think i will have to wait till i get a new computer... QQ i will talk to them and see if i can get my money back or if they can just ship me a 360 version.

well there are gaming laptops that could run this fine. and they are working on making external video card for laptops and that would fix gaming on them.

If your getting it for gaming than yeah don't. if you getting the laptop to do stuff other than gaming than it can do just fine.

Iv used intel graphics all the time for basic stuff and its ok. simple 2d games are ok. Watching online video, writing a paper, playing stick online, looking at email, etc work just fine.  

Im using Mobile Intel 945 right now.

I would actually like to extend that to "If you're getting it for gaming or anything graphics card related, then ya, don't."  Intel chips are fracken ridiculous, and I regret buying a laptop with one.

E-machine's can do all those things, too.

Doesn't change the fact that they still suck.

Just because something works, does not mean it works well.  Intel GPUs are low-end garbage.
