I was just trying to tell him that puppies are not cool. They can't do anything cool. I bet I could kick that puppy's ass. Why would anyone want such a weak animal?

If anything, he should get a parakeet. They have beaks to peck people with and I'm sure they could do some damage with their wings. Much better than a fat dog.

Dogs have been historically proven for a very high sense of loyalty and devotion not often seen in humans except among family and extremely close friends. When that loyalty and devotion is focused on their human masters, dogs have been well known to accomplish amazing feats, especially when said masters are in danger. No other animal exhibits such a uniquely high ability to bond with other creatures readily and well as dogs do. By historical fact, your statement that puppies and dogs can't do anything cool is wrong. Also, even a 'fat' dog can be motivated into action surprising for its physical condition. Can a parakeet do that? No.

Ummmm, puppies have teeth? People have been more seriously injured by dogs more than they have by birds. Your statement may be on topic, but it's retarded nonetheless.

Birds sit in a cage all day and squawk/chirp their brains out. There is nothing all that exciting about a bird either.
