As in a band name, or a musical style, meaning primarily baselines mixed with drums?  If so, what kind of style are you looking for?  Blues, blast-beats, speed?  If you want a good bass guitarist, I think Billy Sheen might fit the bill rather well (skip to ~2:35): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQ9uTKItUyM  His goofy stage presence and extremely quick and consistent rhythmic finger picking is nothing short of astonishing.  If you want a good emphasis on drums, Godsmack did an excellent drum duel live a couple of years back: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAZgkZFi3LI  Again, not entirely certain on what you're aiming for, feel free to tell me that wasn't at all what you were looking for, I don't get offended.

EDIT: Linking that Steve Vai song above reminds me, I saw these videos a while back, and was quite impressed with Steve's philosophies and the methods behind his madness.  Surprisingly while he's discussing music, his theories apply to just about anything in life when perceived from an open mind.

found a band i like, alteast their new stuff, called dream theater. they are like a progressive metal band.
cd- a dramatic turn of events
song-on the backs of angels

their earlier stuff doesnt sound as good to me but still worth mentioning. tried listening to a band called dragonforce, although they are good, the problem is that all their music sounds too much alike especially their drummer.

Ahh, can't help there.  Never got into the electronic produced music.  While I can't deny that such a style is artistic and requires a specific unique skill set, it's probably obvious that such a talent is not one I listen to unfortunately.

Yep, and I have been practicing producing it, aswell :) And those are some cool songs, but why are there ponies in every single one of them? :o Not that I have anything against ponies, just wondering.

While I can't deny the talent behind Petrucci, Myung, and even their new drummer Mike Mangini (Lord he looks like a lot of fun to play with), I can't get my head around LaBrie.  Again, this entire topic is solely based on opinions, but his voice just doesn't fit.  I think what killed them for me was that the very first song I heard them play was a buddy of mine showing me their cover of Metallica's Master Of Puppets (or maybe it was Battery, I don't recall, but it was off that album), his voice killed it.  Absolutely killed it.  I couldn't get past the guitar intro, once his voice kicked in it was over for me.  I really wish I could listen to them, because they are the epitome of musical talent.  Their songwriting is like epic novel's turned musical albums, but the singer just etches into my ear in a very unsettling way.

It's actually humorous.  Well before the drama began with their drummer leaving the band, I always swore that if Dream Theater ever looked for a replacement singer, the first person they should look to is Symphony X's lead singer Michael Romeo.  Seriously, this guy has a voice that fits that band's style perfectly!  Imagine Dream Theater with these vocals:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUn4jXZko5E

Well sure enough, Mike Portnoy left the band, was refused back into the band when he asked (they had already hired Mangini, couldn't possibly send him away after hiring him), so he goes and starts a new band, "Adrenaline Mob".  Who do they call on for vocals?  Yep, Michael Romeo.  Here's their cover of Black Sabbath's "Mob Rules" (long live Ronny James Dio \m/).  Seriously, Ronny would be proud at how well they performed this, if not for the sheer fun they appear to be having in his honor:

And I haven't uploaded much of my music, but this video has one of my short songs in it. It's a few years old. Yeah, I admit it was pretty crappy.

EDIT: Granted it's hardstyle, but most people who like dubstep end up really enjoying hardstyle anyways.
